Hmm, today was a rather mixed day. Very gray weather in the morning, lots of sun and blue sky during the middle of the day, and then back to dingy in the afternoon with rain in the evening.

In terms of things happening today, after I read a message from my friend who works at Bain & Company, I decided to apply for it anyway. So, along with Bain, I also filled out the application process, which was almost identical for the Boston Consulting Group. So at the moment, I've actually applied for 4 position. Flavourtech, Michael Page International, Bain & Company, and Boston Consulting Group. I have no idea if I will get any contact back and interviews.... so I will be continuing to look for work and applying I guess.

Archery was pretty interesting today, messed with a club compound, taught a little to one of the new members, sat around and chatted.

Kendo was really tough today. Someone else led training today because our usual leader was late. They were really enthusiastic and thus wanted us to do a lot of waza practice. I personally felt that they went overboard. They had no real experience in gauging the general fitness and ability of the group, and I fear that there could be real injury/hard from that as someone appeared to have strained/stretched out one of their side muscles during waza training. Further more he didn't really explain some of the more complicated waza/exercises very well either, confusing those with less experience and knowledge on what we were doing. Additionally, he was using the wrong terms like saying kakarigeiko when he meant uchigomigeiko adding more to the confusion. But, it was still pretty good, and in a way, I'm happy that I survived through it fairly well.

Post training, went to Market City for dinner. Parking was $9 for undercover.... Alright I guess. Dinner was katsu ramen and a apple/blackcurrant fruit juice for $11.50. Some fun conversation though. We went to Gloria Jeans afterwards for coffee, and watched the rain pelt down like absolute crazy before getting a little soaked getting back to underground parking and I drove someone home before getting home myself. Some of the others went off to K (karaoke) It wasn't a bad day I guess.

Hopefully the weather is kind of ok tomorrow for training.
