It's a slow moving movie, a little sad in some ways, but a nice gentle movie. If you see someone wandering the streets of New York with a red sticker saying Stupid, it might be related to this movie LOL.
Jack is successful and works advertising, Jill is a struggling actress. Fates collide and they end up with each other but Jill is hiding her secret of being a battler against Cystic Fibrosis. Their lives together revolve around the core values of a manifesto they write together but rule number one is Be Honest....
There are some deep thoughts in this movie about how one should live their life and what life and happiness really is.
There is a section with a quote, which is about I guess how marriage may be perceived in this day and age..
The soundtrack to this movie is also quite nice. Perhaps a good movie to watch if you're in a pensive mood.

Jack: Hey George? How does this relationship nonsense usually work?No wonder many people now don't really look at marriage in any particular positive light....
George: Usually you go on a couple of dates, see if you like each other, eventually you have sex.
Jack: Right,... uh I kind of skipped the whole dating thing... so,.. what then?
George: And then if you're happy with the action you become boyfriend and girlfriend and its really fun for about three months, and then you realise its work. Then you dump her.
Jack: ~noise of disbelief~
George: Or not.
Jack: Ok, lets say not.
George: You move in together.
Jack: I did that ~makes a face~
George: ~sigh~ Right. Well, then you get married, you start your trajectory of acquisitions, knives, forks, juicer, barbeque, you move to the 'burbs, you buy a house, pop some kids out ~breathes in~ you fight, you cheat, you separate, divorce, you split the shit and see the kids on weekends. Then you start over again.
Jack: It all sounds so promising.
George: It's just an outline Jack.
