I wouldn't call this an action film, probably more a drama really. IMDB states it is a action and drama which is fair enough.
If you're into Brazillian Ju-Jitsu, then you would probably enjoy the movie a tad more because the main focus is this martial art. The main character Terry, is embroiled a what appears to be a conspiracy of circumstance that causes him to end up fighting in a MMA style competition using a old training method of his where fighters may end up with a handicap.
It is fairly slow going, and the ending is actually a little abrupt in my opinion, almost like they ran out of time or money..... I was really confused about what the buggery actually happened at the end of the movie.... oh well.
The actual fight scenes are really good though, so excellent to watch the manouvers used in BJJ.
