Hero Wanted

Revenge is always an interesting topic to look at.
Many people joke about revenge in day to day life, but rarely act upon it in a serious manner. Of course the typical 'revenge' is paying back someone with practical jokes/pranks or something else, but probably not like the murder revenge....

Well, in Hero Wanted (Cuba Gooding Jnr) it is related to the murder type.

Meet Liam, a garbage man who becomes somewhat a dispirited person after the accidental death of his wife. Then, out of no-where he safes a little girl from certain death when the car she is in gets broadsided by another car. This event awakens him from his lower than normal existence and the path to salvation.

He becomes involved in a bank robbery where the teller is shot in the head and survives in a coma, but he too gets shot in the process. Seeking revenge, he takes his fill upon the bank robbers.

It isn't exactly a fast pace movie, nor is there much action in it. More of a drama/thriller of some sort. The dialogue isn't cutting either and the movie is a little jumpy as there are flashbacks thrown in throughout. Really, nothing stands out at all but for some reason, it felt like a good movie....

If you don't see it, it you won't be missing anything, but it would be interesting to see what you would think of it if you did.
