Cartooning - Potential?

Over the last little bit of time, I've been playing with my tablet quite a bit, besides doing the drawings for my Kendo blog, I've also done 'pencil' sketches, 'watercolour' but my more recent exploits have been in more solid colour fill, with the results kind of like a poster cartoon style. I think I'm getting a little better at it, though I am still not very good, though practice does help. On the shading and getting light/shadow contrasts, I think I'm starting to be a little better in working them into the colour. The hardest part is picking the right skintone, since in proper skintone, it is actually a blend of a lot of colours similar and different that generates the pattern. By doing a solid colour fill, the base colour needs to look reasonable before shading is applied by darker or lighter colours based off the base colour.

In any case, one of the people who I did a picture for asked me how much I charged. LOL. I said nothing, at least at the moment. Should I charge for future works? How much should I charge?.... How do I even collect payment?? LOL The idea itself is nice in a guesture way, to have people show their appreciation for my time and effort, but, for them to use it as their Facebook Profile picture so far is actually a great credit to me =) If they acknowledge to anyone asking, that I did it. Incidentally, I forgot to sign the last one I did hahaha, but that's ok, I don't mind not having it signed.

So, I'll attach all four that I've done, though only three are in FB profile use. I hope they don't mind but since it's no longer their photograph (therefore not their true face) it should be ok for me to put up since it is my work ^_^ and well, besides Chris' picture, the others aren't 'named'. As for Chris, his chosen line of work means he'll get exposure anyway so being on this blog is no biggie for him in the slightest LOL. ^_^

If you have a request, let me know, and if you really feel like repaying me somehow, if I take the request and complete it that is, I'm sure we can work it out somehow.
