Clean & Shine

I washed my car today. It has been a while since the last time I washed it. So long that I can't even remember when, but I think it was during summer at the start of the year.

My wash procedure is fairly simple.
I use a sponge and bucket approach, with some carwash goo, it's this blue colour in liquid form.
First bucket is grime removal where I scrub off the stuff deposited on the car.
Second bucket is residue removal where I wash off the residue from the dirty grime removal.
Third bucket has no soap at all and I clean water wash the car and using a chamois I dry off the car as I wash it in sections.

After this, I apply Turtle Wax (the specific brand) and buff it down with a old towel.
The whole process takes about 2 hours for me, but the final appearance is very nice, smooth, clean, shiny. The surface is very slippery and polished.

Interestingly, from observation, the left hand side of my car is much dirtier than my right side. I don't know exactly why that is though since how it is parked normally, it is still undercover by the tree..

More so, how much dust/dirt is there in the air in this place for the amount to be deposited on my car?..... Unless trees shed dirt from their branches and leaves these days...

Um, trees do drop gunk down I thought - so that is why parking under trees makes your car dirtier, but depending on what you are comparing with...

Except it's not gunk, it's literally just dirt...
