Interesting article in regards to obesity and how many seats you are allowed to have. A Canadian court has deemed that people "functionally disabled by obesity" deserve two seats for the fare of one.
Functionally disabled.
If they are medically obese due to actual uncontrollable conditions, I would agree. If they are obese for lifestyle reasons, then I would disagree. I think perhaps in the future, airlines may reserve the right not to sell seats on flights for people who are obese and we will see booking questions of our weight or girth.....
