More Viewing

Anime wise, there is a series which I have recently watched and caught up to the latest (eleven episodes so far) very quickly because they are only fourteen minute episodes though the actual content is only twelve minutes or so since the introduction and preview are about a minute each also. The series is called Detroit Metal City. Firstly, if you don't like swearing, don't watch it. If you're easily offended, don't watch it, but if you have a very open sense of humor, and appreciate black humor, then do watch it LOL. It's about this guy who went from a small country town of Inukai, to Tokyo, to become a musician. He wanted to sing nice songs, love songs and ballads but somehow ended up being the lead for a death metal band called DMC (Detroit Metal City) and becoming the alterego of Krausner II, someone who supposedly murdered his family when he was a kid, and does all this seriously messed up stuff. But in reality, he isn't like that at all. It shows the two sides of his life in how he tries to be himself, but he ends up having to revert to being Krausner to stop his fans doing some very strange things LOL. It's brilliant, very wickedly funny, but uh yeaaaaah, the language in it is very very very bad....

In terms of television shows, I've also watched another one called Eleventh Hour. This is another FBI based show of sorts, investigative science. Itself isn't freaky science like Fringe/X-Files type of material, but more observational/murder/hidden/unusual science stuff. The guy who is the lead is kind of strange, slightly absent-minded/eccentric and he has another FBI agent who is his protector and minder. They go around solving cases which are of scientific nature deemed to be beyond normal logical reasoning. But of course, there is real reasoning there, just have to think about it a little more. It is far more down to earth, real science than the stuff in Fringe. It seems to be not too bad so far, so another to look at if you have the inclination.
