Passing of another, a literary success

I read in the newspaper today that the author Michael Crichton died of cancer. The article link is here: http://www.smh.com.au/news/entertainment/books/author-michael-crichton-dies/2008/11/06/1225560981219.html

I first read Jurassic Park in year 8, 1994 for me, and then from there on I read through some of his other works, The Lost World, Sphere, Congo, Timeline, Rising Sun, Airframe, and The Terminal Man. I quite enjoyed his works and Timeline was the last book of his that I read, twice actually, someone I knew had it on their shelf and I ended up reading it while waiting for them.

The world has lost an interesting and entertaining author. However, as we may mourn our loss, I am sure many new young and older folk who have been inspired by his works will and have stepped up to fill in the hole he has left behind.

Rest your weary pen and may you sleep well.
