A friend of mine asked for something to be made using cross-stitch as her birthday present. Well, I said I could make her something instead of buying her something and she agreed. I wanted a theme, so she said Kakadu. It was a little tricky I guess, but I did a google search for Kakadu for ideas and what came up a lot were waterfalls.
So I tried to make a waterfall.
It took a few days of on-off making (I didn't sit down and get it done in one go though I probably could had if I worked on it all day solidly) and the end result looks ok, nothing flash but I was satisfied with it. The water component is fine-ish, and I kind of populated the rock face a little with some shrubbery LOL.
In any case, this is what it looks like.
