Well, there isn't much that I can really say, but my first day of work in real industry involved a very early wake thanks to the joys of peacocks.... damn peacocks...
Breakfast happened at 7am at a local cafe that opened at 6:45am for coffee but the kitchen wasn't open until 7am.
Then a 30min drive down to the site.
Well, there was a lot of stuff going in, stuff coming out, stuff being in the right place, in the wrong place. Interesting safety issues, like, oh my god... field day for OH&S lol.... I mean, our work was fine, but the guy who had other stuff on site... dodgey as hell... I wouldn't go near it with a 20 foot pole, literally because of how bad it was. It was a long day, we finished at 6:30pm and raced back to the motel for dinner before the kitchen closed at the hotel next door. Tonight I had a confit of pork belly, that had sold out last night, and it was really nice, though the pork belly could have been a little crispier. But, it was still pretty good.
So, the data collected was okay, reasonable for a first go. Tomorrow is another day.
I do not look forward to the peacocks....
