~~yawn~~
I'm back at Sydney International Airport.
Been a while.
Anyway, my ride today to the airport was wih a seasoned driver of 7 years who lived in Belmore. From Iraq, fled the country as a political refugee as they were a member of the opposition party during Saddam Hussain's power rise. He settled into Melbourne for two years before coming up to Sydney since there were family and friends who had been settled into Sydney.
At the airport, check-in was fairly uneventful. I said to the security screening guy that I'd probably get explosive trace tag tested like I normally do, and what do you know, it actually happened lol, AND they frisked me XD
Ah, such a seasoned passenger am I that when the guy waved his stick to me, I unzipped and held out my hands...
Well, I bought a Raspberry muffin and a frappe at Santos drinks, and settled outsiee gate lounge 24. Me thinks I may need to nap a bit since I've only had 2hrs nap this morning since I kind of feared missing my flight.
This are rather uneventful here really, just that my boarding pass said Gate 33, while the displays show Gate 34. Gate 24 goes to HK, where I want to be, 33 goes to Noumea, which I'd rather not be unless if someone was paying for me, which since no-one is, I won't.
So, now I want and wait.
Well, now after a 30min nap in this hard chair, the flight crew have arrived and are waiting for the security gate clearance to open. As usual, on Cathay, it is a predominant asian crew, though the pilots appear to be of caucasian origins.
The crowds of people are forming, and there is a young girl with impeccable English reading an article to her father from Readers Digest, asian family, but I have no why she looks REALLY familiar to me -_-;.... There is also another dude near me who looks really familiar to me also.....
I think it must be from lack of sleep or something lol.... Or I must have seen them earlier in the airport from my wanderings >_<..
Well, back to waiting...
