Kirsten is potentially getting a "new" bow.
It's a second hand Protec 2003 that Marcus' wife is selling for $800.

The reason for wanting to get the bow is that it is a 50lb-60lb bow, and Kirsten wants to shoot a higher poundage (50) instead of the 42lb that her bow is capable of spitting out at it's max weight.

She's got to scrape together $300 from her mother, $400 for her current bow, and $100 from elsewhere to get the bow. Plus postage.....

Meanwhile, I would like to scrape $45 and get a 6x lens for my scope, and $260 for a new set of arrows, and $1500 for a recurve kit..... =P

In which, it might happen if I get my tax return back, and it's around the $2000 mark.
