I don't normally blog and rant in a negative way specifically about something, well, ok, I do, but not in a slamming damning way, but I will in this post.
PGI, otherwise known as Prosperity Group International, or something like that. I'm not going to google them up since it's only going to benefit them if I do in terms of hits to their site. Anyway, I had somehow left my details to them a very long time ago, not exactly how, but they had my phone number. They deal in index trading. Index trading is another stock exchange type of trading, and like all stock dealings, there are risks, and there is no guarantee that you will always come out on top.
They called me in the past and offered me a deal with their investments method, where you invest so much money, and they invest so much money, and you trade online each day to earn you money. I didn't have the money, nor the time, nor the experience to do it and I told them so. I said I'd get back in contact with them once I was ready and the guy was quite nice and accepted that.
Today, some guy from PGI called me, but a completely different person. What they did is why I'm ranting, and quite frankly, I hope to give them a negative rap, from this minuscule blog point.
They called to offer me their offer again, fair enough, keeping in contact with potential client base. They wanted me to invest $3480 while they threw in the rest to bring it up to $15000 for the portfolio. I told them I was unemployed, which is true to the extent that I'm working casual to pay off my credit card and keep my living expenses going, and that I couldn't afford it. The guy, I can't even remember his bloody name, then asked if I could put it onto my credit card, and then I explained that I didn't want to because I couldn't even fully pay it off at the moment. He then continued to push the point saying that the money earnt would pay it off very easily and quickly. Fair enough.
I then told him that I wasn't ready to be involved because I didn't have the money, and that I was considering going overseas also, and that having done my research on this kind of trading, I didn't want to get involved because there is no guarantee of income. Then, I guess that must have been the point where he realised he wasn't going to make the sale to me, so he pretty much hung up on me.
WTF. Ok, if you want to be rude like that, then I hope you don't contact me again. If you do, then I'm going to give you it on the phone. Even if a potential client isn't able to, you should still behave professionally, and politely, not like some spastic 10 year old and hang up on them.
What I want to know is, if your index trading is so good, so worthwhile, and so easy to earn you that supposed $1000/week for 30min of trading a day, then why don't you have people lining up to pay you for their portfolios? Why do you suddenly have a opening, and then have to call people who haven't contacted you back of their own will to fill in this spot?
I'm not well educated in stock trading, but at the same time, I'm not stupid. Quite frankly, that is why I don't get into this kind of stuff without being very cautious because for me $3000 is a lot of money to invest in something I know nothing about, and have no idea about how to trade in.
So guess what, F**K YOU PGI. I hope you guys burn on the market in some trading catastrophe. If you call me again, I hope your calling person is ready to cop some shit because they will.
