Well, I watched six episodes of it today to finish the series. That's neigh on six hours of viewing LOL.
Let me say, I can see why this series took top spot on the ratings back in 2005 for its Monday and Tuesday night 9:55pm timeslot from episode eight onwards, finishing with 32%....
There are many twists, turns, unexpected events for both good and bad.... The characters really develop and some redeem, while others continue to fall. Acting wise, the best ones I felt were obviously the two main actor/actress combo, and then Mong-Ryong's father. Chun-hyang's female friend Dan-ni really annoyed me greatly though LOL.
The soundtrack was limited, as you could expect, but I did like the recurrent theme music.
If you have the time and energy to spare with the addiction of k-drama and you haven't seen this, I would highly recommend it. The ending is decent, not uber fantastic, but decent enough. And if you're prone to going mushy at emotional scenes, then, watch out cos there is the odd one here and there.
