D&D Tiny Adventures, DDO annoyance

Well, WotC (Wizards of the Coast, the company that bought the rights of Dungeons & Dragons from TSR) released a application on Facebook called Dungeons & Dragons:Tiny Adventures. It's a fun little app which allows you to select a pre-made character and run through some random encounters, as mentioned previously in my earlier post. They have been having some problems with it lately in terms of poor code not working, too many hits causing an unintentional DOS attack, hardware failure, a server rollback (most annoying) amongst a few things. There are many points that could be griped about, how you can't spend healing surges, spellcasters don't actually cast spells, limitation of only being able to use two potions, and other things. It still is fun mind you, just frustrating at times at the lack of things you can do. It is a good way for WotC to promote the D&D franchise though, so good on them in terms of promoting the game.

DDO was annoying earlier because I had run through a quest (Cabal for One) on Elite with a PUG, but then I disconnected near the end. By the time I had got back into the game, they had finished and looted the chests without waiting for me, leaving me uncompleted, no xp, no loot for a 40min run which was expensive in terms of death/repair/arrows. Bastards. I did run Madstone Crater with a chinese PUG, and they did it their usual zerging way, which I still got a good 23k xp for first time on elite, but had we taken the time for completion on conquest etc, we would have come closer to 30k xp.... oh well. Flipout is now only 2k off from lvl 14, after being on lvl 13 for about 6 months now while I played other characters LOL. I guess nowdays, I'm slowly getting back into DDO, and I haven't turned to the dark side that is WoW....
