A Japanese drama series, shortish at only eleven episodes.
The main character is a guy called Jiro, who is a 'washed up' F1 racer in Europe so he decides to head home to Japan for a bit of a break to get back on his feet. His home though has been turned into an orphanage and he finds himself involved with the daily lives of the kids who live there and are looked after by his father, his sister and the three other staffers (a cook and two teachers).
He still strives with his dream to be a race driver and works on his dream while helping out with the kids in their lives and the difficulties they encounter living as orphans or at the orphanage (not all of them who live there are orphans but their family situation put them there, so kind of like kids taken from homes due to abusive parents or parents who are unable to look after them etc).
It's a feelgood series. The acting isn't crash hot since half the cast really are the kids haha, but it's nice. A clean simple series with a few points here and there to bring a smile to your face.
