Yesterday was just another day. Went downtown to see the boss and hand over some experimental samples that he had asked me to look at. I finally got to go behind the divider of the office and see the inner sanctum. It was quite small really, and sparsely populated. I had a chat with one of the other guys who works for the same company and learned a little more about the actual company.
Had a chat with the boss about what to do next, so I am now back on literature to read up and understand as much as I can about a few things....
Back to uni and my fridge of a room, and started looking up the materials that I was supposed to. Post work, I got down to Kendo and watched them train, and then had dinner out with them at the Sussex St centre in the food court. There was night market stalls going on in China town so we wandered through to get some desert (though I didn't get any myself). We thought about seeing Tropic Thunder, but the session times didn't really work out, so ended up trekking back down to the Capital because one of the people wanted to check out the UFO machines (the grabbing machines for plushies), and after spending some time there and some money, he walked away from the machines empty handed LOL... one of the others appeared out of no-where with a small one and that was about it for the booty.
We then went on a road trip as I drove some people home and to the station. Having never been to Panania, I had a vague idea where it was, I took one of them home there. It is a lot closer to me than I thought. It's just below Bankstown Airport.... So then took another person home on the way back to Lidcombe station before getting home myself.
Nothing particularly special as such but a nice evening out with a few friends.
Tonight I have a house warming of sorts to attend. I don't know who will turn up to it though, and it is a very small place with a reasonable number of people invited... Hmmm. Could be a potentially interesting evening in a good and bad way . . . . .
