When did kids become such ratbags?
Is it a product of the locality?
Generational change?
Or perhaps it was just that my own region was more calm, educated, and less ratbag-gy than those here? Or maybe it was that I was so boring....
I was on the train home today, and there was a carriage load of schoolkids going home at the same time. The noise was insane, and their general behaviour quite unruly. Screaming, shouting, swearing, throwing bags around, pushing, squashing other kids, that kind of thing. You could say that kids will be kids, but, back in my day (and I'm not even *that* old...), when I caught the train home, we weren't like that. Much more well behaved. At least that I observed....
