Noise Violation Punishment

I just saw on the news that an American judge decided to employ a different form of punishment for noise violations. The standard method is to pay a fine, however the young offenders were instead punished by being forced to sit in a courtroom and listen to very loud music which were not to their tastes including Classical, BeeGees, Beatles and other Golden Oldies. The video footage was hilarious with some of them holding facial expressions of agony, while other had their hands over their ears LOL.

I guess that is definitely one way to teach them about keeping noise levels down when others do not appreciate their musical tastes.
