I have been working on a new project over the last two days, with the final stages for completion tomorrow. I went 'shopping' today in Revesby to find what I wanted but they didn't have it there, so I will go to my local area to get it. I just happened to be in Revesby, and took the opportunity to look, so no, I didn't go all the way there just to get the stuff LOL.
But, the phase that I completed today ended with me using some paint. I didn't have a lot of paints lying around but I decided to see if my old Citadel Paints were still good. They were. Surprisingly good. Let me explain.
I used to play Warhammer Fantasy & Warhammer 40k. Used to being the phrase since I haven't since 1998. I believe I purchased the basic paint set from the Games Workshop store in the Queen St Mall, in Brisbane in 1997 since we lived in Runcorn at that time. I used to spraypaint my plastics in black basecoat and then paint. They are somewhere in the shed.... Britonians and Space Marines, the set that you got from the boxset for the rule books. My friends donated them to be because they didn't want the models, just the rules since they chose to play Imperial, Blood Elves, and the other different Marine groups/Eldar. In any case, I bought the paints back then. It's now nearly the end of 11 years since I bought them. That's how old they are.
I shook one up because it was still liquid sounding, popped the cap and voila, good colour, consistency, dried well. Wunderbar. I used it for my project, and it worked quite nicely. So, kudos to you Games Workshop for at least producing good quality paints that last. I wonder if they'll be good in another ten years.... Mind you, they might be used up by then if I keep on crafting stuff these days LOL. =P

Hey, the paints that you are using now are mural paints or just normal water colour paints? I'm looking for mural paints now, but don't know how much the market price is.. lol
Neither.
They are acrylic but water-dillutable paints for minitures/figurines. You should go and ask at someplace like the Art On King shop on King St Newtown just near Uni.
You do murals? Awesome~!
