Boxing Day Party 2008

A few of us wanted to do something on Boxing day, but people also wanted to go shopping or had already made plans with other people during the day, thus our impromptu party began late afternoon into the wee hours of the morning.

It was lots of games more than anything else with the only alcohol being a single beer that I had during our poker game. We played the PS2 quite a bit especially on Taiko Drum Master and DDR before having a pasta dinner, playing Mikado/Pickup Sticks, then Poker and finishing on more DDR until about nearly two in the morning.

I got random breath tested on the way home too but it had been hours since the beer during the poker match so I was perfectly fine.

Lots of fun, the metal DDR mat that my friend had was quite good except the forward pad was a bit buggy since it had been hammered a lot in its lifetime, but it was just heavy and bulky. I don't know if I got any better over the evening as I played it but it certainly was quite a bit of exercise.

I did mess about a lot more with the 50mm lens so there are more pictures on my Flickr taken with it here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/dchiou/sets/72157611635041739/

I'll be taking it also to another party tonight and using it again. Practice makes better skills when it comes to photography.
