Well, I had a lot of unused internet quota floating around. So I decided, what the heck, since Turbine was throwing points at me (1500 Turbine points for joining the Closed Beta, then another 1500 points just given via email...) I might as well burn some quota and get it.
So, 32hrs later, 6.68Gb later, I have the Lamannia server running on my machine.
Unfortunately due to their NCA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) I can't actually say anything about it. My only comment is, it sure looks different, it feels almost the same but it isn't, and the forums are in a flurry of posts regarding it's content, especially the DDO Store.
I don't know if I'll play very much on it since I mainly wanted the points so when DDO Unlimited went live, I'd scab free points hahaha. But we'll see.
