I cut myself and sliced my fingers a bit yesterday crafting. It wasn't the most pleasant experience as you could probably appreciate. One thing for sure though is, the edges of drill bits a fricken sharp. Sharp to the point of cutting skin without you even telling it happened. So in any case, I made a two things over the weekend with bamboo, I'm quite happy with how one came out, the other could have been better but there is unfortunately no way I can re-make it due to the materials used in it and how it was made. I'm not displeased with the result, but just pondering how it could have been better.
Having better tools would be great, like having a plunge drill mount for my dremel tool would be awesome since it would then let me do straight 90° drilling instead of by hand like I currently do. Having the router attachment would also be nice I think. Having a clamp mount so my dreme becomes a mini-bandsaw/circular saw would also be cool. The versatility of the tool is fantastic, but unfortunately I don't own enough of the accessories (yet!) to have the full utility of it.
At some later stage when I have time again, I will probably try again to make something else in similar fashion to what I did over the weekend, and perhaps see better results.
