I am attending my best friend's wedding in October. What I didn't realise was that I would actually be a groomsman for the event. It had been vaguely mentioned in passing, but nothing actually discussed.
Well, I got an email today from the brother of the groom, with detail for the fitting, and also bucks party. The set entails that I have to attend a fitting (which will cost me to be fitted..) then, a final fitting in Brisbane... with the bucks party the weekend before the wedding.
Initially, I was going to fly up the morning of the wedding (since it's a midday wedding) in my suit, attend the wedding and reception (late afternoon reception), and fly home on the last flight of the day available. This would mean I could still get my day of work on the Friday, and training too.
Now, if I attend the bucks party, the final fitting, and the wedding, that is three trips in the space of a week. I could do it, fly up and back on each of the days.... I don't know if I have the ability to take an entire weeks holiday like my mother suggested however -_-, in either case, it complicates things ever so slightly....
Whatever I do however, I am sure it will be appreciated lol... it better be!~ XD
