Man, I am so tired, I was dropping off all day in almost every single class at least once... I don't know why I'm not sleeping soundly, and if I think I do, my body still tells me otherwise, which is really bad.

Generally, I try to get around 7 hours or so, but I think it takes me ages to actually get to sleep, so I probably end up being resting reasonably, but not enough REM (Rapid Eye Movement) or Deep Sleep as other people know it by.

Several developments have occured rather recently, and it incensed me enough that last night I didn't blog as I was way to busy writing a certain document regarding the motions we had.

Yesterday was the start of Phase Two for the MTeach Program.
I started my curriculum components of my double science method.
So, morning was the same essentially, as the science core lectures are in the afternoons from 4-5pm.

Well, then comes archery. It was such a big mess because of the fact that we have been pushed around so much and being screwed over completely..... In the end, we decided to be nice, and let the Moore College have the field as seeing they have actually paid their money for it, but it still does not detract from our problem of effectively losing half our training times, especially since we are hosting the university games this year.

So, I came home, not very happy with the situation, and to make it worse, couldn't get hold of Damian as he was at a funeral apparently.

So, I got home, had some dinner (hot pot as the farewell dinner for the two guests that my father had staying with us) and then started writing this document essentially outlining the problems and issues that the club has encountered with this move. I wanted to watch CSI as well, but as it was, it was an old episode of CSI instead of a new one, so I went back and finished typing up the document. By the time I finished that, I also remembered that I needed to make a questionaire for my Study 1 essay from a parent that Kirsten can give to her next door neighbour to do for me.....

Egads. Then we did some photo's with the guests as they were leaving early morning today....and by the time I went to bed, it was already half past midnight.....

Bleh.....

Today wasn't so bad, but just tedious.
I had a Biology Curriculum lecture session this morning for two hours. It was actually quite fun and enjoyable, and I discovered that I would have passed the NSW HSC exam from 1999 in the first multiple choice section (although I have never studied biology at school or uni) and I got 13 right from 15 questions.

I think I'm going to struggle a little to learn the knowledge base for teaching biology, but I don't really have much choice.

Then, I had a big break, where I went to see Cathy and lend her my copy of "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtney.
Before that though, I went into the SUSport office and made a appointment to see Damian on Thursday at 1pm to discuss stuff, and I also left a copy of the document for him to read.

I met up with Kirsten for lunch, and was napping when Damian called.
Yadda yadda yadda.
Well, since he is the acting operations manager, he leaves the position this friday, and the new permanent (hopefully!) operations manager will take over on Monday, which means we will have to go over the whole rigmarole all over again....
But at least he said he agreed with lots of our points, and he was in the processes of contacting Moore College and offering them our old training grounds, The Square for their usage while we used St Pauls Oval.... he never got back to me or emailed, which means I think he didn't get hold of them, so I will find out tomorrow.

In the afternoon, I had my science core lab session.
We discussed a whole pile of stuff.
And did a fun brainstorming PBL (Problem Based Learning). Essentially a PBL uses case studies from real life, and promotes investigation and researching into the knowledge and context to teach science. We did a PBL. It was lots of fun.
Came home.
Ate
Dead tired.
Killed some people on CounterStrike v1.5 on the iHug servers.
Showered
Dead tired.
Watched CSI. Not bad episode.
Now I'm blogging.
