Today.

Being a Thursday means that I only have Study 1 class.

Focus session was such a drag. I slept through half of it, and it was interesting at the start but his voice just lulled me to sleep......

The seminar tute group was a shambled mess too, and nothing much really happened.....

I guess the most interesting things today was that I managed to stitch 6 rows in my knitting that I've been doing..... I had Union Food (university food outlets at cheap prices type of thing) and it tasted quite nice, and filling, and hot, and cheap. I'm still alive and no food poisoning yet. It was 1/4 chicken in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes for $4.00, and it was pretty good to my tastes. I also then got three mini muffins from BB's for $2.70 (they were caramel and macadamia nut) and they were really yummy too. My mother gave us some money for lunch cos she didn't really have anything to make lunch with.

We had the meeting with Damian, and it went quite well. He has agreed to most of our ideas, and will be trying to persuade Moore College to train on the Square since it is free as we do not have the booking there anymore. But he has advised us to contact the new Operations Manager Rob when he starts working in the position next week regarding the issues again, as we don't know what he will be likely to do.

Came home and watched some Midori no Hibi and Konjiki no Gash.

In some ways, today, I felt that I should have taken the Grad Dip Ed instead, as I would be close to finishing the course, I would have already gone on prac teaching, and by the end of this year, I could be working and out in the world again doing something, instead of sitting in rooms listening to philosophical crap that has very little relevance to how I see things. And how I do things, and how I hope to do things in the future. I think that, we need more than the type of things we are doing (i.e just sitting around talking) and more things that are useful (like learning teaching skills, not theories)....

Hopefully it will get better.
