Started on my emendations properly today. I got pretty far through it before I had a meeting with my supervisor on how to approach some of the emendations. I have only 16 bigger ones to do, the minor stuff like typos, grammaticals and miscellaneous issues have already been fixed and dealt with. Though, I am still waiting for the official letter to come through from the graduate school of engineering ~sigh~.

I also had a 30 minute phone call from one of the people in relation to the dental project. Interesting talk actually, and well, I still have no idea how much work will be done in it, nor how much I will get paid...... in any case, I'm sure I'll get paid something, which is better than nothing.

Tomorrow, I'll be embedding the TEM samples into their final resin blocks, and hopefully the SEM samples will have been gold coated with 20nm coating instead of the standard 45nm coat. Once that is done, then we can book the SEM505 for an examination, and I'll have to get started on sectioning of the TEM samples.

Plenty of things to do.
