I finally got around to watching the movie version of this story, as created by Tim Burton and acted by Johnny Depp from 1990. Having seen the stage ballet production prior to the movie, I was able to compare on the fly. There are quite a few differences really, but in the end, the story is still the same.
The makeup, costume and acting of Edward was really cool, I wonder how they did the hands so well. His facial expressions were really amazing and goes to show how skilled Johnny Depp was in his earlier days in controlling emotional expression and thought.
There isn't really much to say because the movie is quite old, and the story told and well known to some extent amongst movie buffs, so this isn't really that much of a review as to say that I watched the movie haha.
7.5/10
