Harajuku Gothic

I went to a 30th birthday party last night, and the theme was Harajuku Gothic.  Having little clue, I got assistance from my friends, both in shopping a few weeks back, and also in obtaining the look.  You can see the process of sorts here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dchiou/sets/72157622527393197/

At the party, I was easily the most effort put in by the looks.  Some of the others did do makeup and hair, but just not to the extreme I did, and by the looks of it, for most part, they didn't really get what Harajuku was for guys, to point point where someone said that there is no actual Harajuku fashion for guys..... -_-;;

It was pretty funny for most part, especially when some of the costumes started to get mixed around with a terrible blond wig on different people, and a spiked collar.....  Food wise they had a spit roast that had been going for about 7 hours before it was carved up and boy, was that good... I got some crackling from it too and man, I love crackling....  It was a good turnout, not too many, not too few, familiar faces and it was good to catch up with a lot of people I hadn't seen for a while.  All in all, a pretty entertaining night.

I didn't use my own camera at the party, but there will probably be some pictures popping up eventually on Facebook somewhere by someone...
